Potential Adverts

Advert 1

*Sound of keyboard typing and phones ringing (this continues during advert)*

Boss: CAMERON!!! Your work quality has been slipping. I can't have you in this job if your not focusing on your job!

Man 2: Sorry boss, it's just I lost my 9-fold by one match. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Boss: CAMERON!!! You should use kingBet...If you lose your accumulator by one fold you can claim the winnings anyway. It helped me out big time. I made a FORTUNE!! Also, if both teams score, all usual markets get refunded. They really care about their people.

Man 2: Thanks for the tip boss, I’ll definitely use that next time!

Main Voice: Sign up to kingBet now for great odds and top offers on this weekends FA Cup Final. If you bet on any correct score, you will receive a free £10 bet. kingBet...for the people.

This would be an appropriate advert for my radio station because advertising a betting company on a sports show is likely to attract customers because they can bet on sport that they believe they know and understand. Also, this advert is appropriate for the audience of my station because of the offers that are heard in the station. The first one is an offer of winning an accumulator, even if one of your bets in the accumulator are wrong. This is very attractive because it increases a persons chance of winning money, and would attract the audience to this betting company over others because of the advantage they can gain, and the generosity of the company.
The second offer is a free bet £10 bet, if you bet on any correct score in the FA Cup final. This is also attractive because the company are giving their customers the opportunity to make money without putting them at risk of losing any at all, as long as they place a bet on the scoreline of the FA Cup final. This is an attractive proposition for the audience because, even if they get the scoreline wrong, they know that they have a free bet waiting for them, and if they get lucky, a huge returns to boot.

Advert 2

*Re-enact famous football moments (Preferably Cup moments), with music in the background*

Man 1: You thought it was all over (clip of commentating of Arsenal scoring their title-winning goal). You thought the drama had ended (clip of commentator shouting 'UNBELIEVABLE' with crowds cheering in the bakground). You were wrong. (Commentator commentating football moments with pumping music in background).

Man 1: Goal FM has live commentary from the final of the greatest cup competition on Earth (commentator says "Wigan have won the FA Cup") ...and the final of the greatest ever club competition (Commentator says "Arjen Robben has won it for Bayern"). *More cheering and screaming etc*

Man 1: The FA Cup and Champions League Final...Live on Goal FM...History will be written.

This would be an appropriate advert for my radio station because advertising live coverage of two of the biggest cup games in the sports calender is likely to attract an audience of sports fans. It is highly likely that their a radio listeners who are football fans but cannot watch the game due to various reasons. Advertising that a radio station will be covering those games, and the fact that you can listen to the radio in your car, on your phone etc. is an attractive proposition, and a resolution to their problems, for many people. Also, by advertising shows on your own station, you are likely to increase your audience.
