Comparing and contrasting representation

talkSport

I listened to talkSport drivetime on Saturday 21st December. The show mainly consisted of people phoning in to voice their opinions about the days football games, and the presenters responding to these comments and giving their opinions too. It was clear that there is a lot of banter between the presenters and the callers. Despite some callers having positive attitudes and negative attitudes, the banter was still clear to all, and its a key component to the success of the show for viewers.

LBC

I listened to LBC on Saturday 21st December. The show consisted off a panel of people discussing the biggest topics going on in the news, with people phoning in to voice their opinions. LBC is different to talkSPort in the sense that, although both topics of conversations are taken seriously, LBC does not contain as much banter as talkSport does, because of the type of show that it is, the topics of conversation it discusses, and its targeted audience.
